The Initiative is a weird one. They were formed specifically to be Microsoft's answer to Naughty Dog or Crystal Dynamics - basically making the Xbox division the sorts of big AAA moviegames that Sony had so much success with. M$ were obviously putting a lot of money into them since they started immediately recruiting staff with big name studio CVs like Insomniac, Sony Santa Monica, Rockstar, Blizzard and the original Kojima Productions. Then they proceeded to do nothing for years, have huge personnel turnover and then get dumped on to a mediocre-looking Perfect Dark reboot that has to be finished by of all studios, Crystal Dynamics, after M$ decide to close the studio.

Would love to know the behind the scenes shit that went on there.
