To an extent but the real issue is people just quit doing infantry once tanks and artillery come out. The game turns into a few small skirmishes and two tank columns staring each other down until one gets bored, dies in the open, and the winner gets half an hour of free PVE until the other side gets enough tanks to reform. And sometimes a regiment might do an artillery op and rock the boat but that'll last either 20 minutes and do nothing or last hours and do... slightly more damage. Repeat ad nauseum until one side gets fucking bored and they quit bringing enough logistics or more tanks. I mean look at Charlie, I've been fighting around blemish for a fucking month and we've gained one fucking city. What a slog of a game. And I already know planes won't properly break this stalemate autism.

I'm 36
>what are you playing?
I'm all over the place. Right now I'm going to open Pathfinder Kingmaker on another screen. Make a few decisions while I listen to my favorite podcast (Black Pants Legion). Might play some ps3 games before I go to bed. Recently bought the console. I'm thinking it's going to be Prototype or Infamous. I remember enjoying them when I was younger. Never beat it either.
>what are you looking forward to play?
Not much. Beta Decay is looking pretty good, I hope the dev can make it to the finish line. I really just want to play Falling Frontier. RTS/4X space game where you manage fleets, shipping and production of munitions and supplies. I believe the dev is trying to make the physics as accurate as possible, which will make the actual combat amazing
>how's life?
Got a retail job, I'm in school and working towards getting some certifications, own a car, a small bungalow out innawoods. I lucked out, life is pretty chill. No friends or relationships but I'm not stressing it. If I'm meant to be alone then I'll cope. My health is iffy, I need to work out and eat better.

I don't actually care about graphics and think that's the last thing they should work on. They need to fix performance, rework their dumb story quest structures, make it only a little harder on the whole, and create satisfying ways to use the game's open world structure. There really need to be quests or activities that incentivize staying in free roam and hunting for prolonged periods in one biome or across biomes.

I don't actually think the difficulty is that big of a deal. In my time with GU, Gathering missions take the longest and no hunt has taken over 10 minutes so far. I guess it's part of the game's low difficulty, but I think in Wilds they just need to rework the way wounds work and focus strikes automatically flinching monsters. I guess they could beef up damage and health for monsters a little bit.

What I want out of Wilds is an actual reason to use it's open world format. I want a reason to stay out and hunt random shit for a few hours. I unironically want some kind of Guiding Lands system. It was nice to grind shit for a few hours to get some major target to spawn in that would then let me build towards some endgame item or cosmetic. If Arch-Tempered monsters weren't just an event thing, maybe hunting enough monsters in an area could draw out an AT Apex. Something like that.

I'm not hating when I say this. I wish these developers the best, I wish them success and happiness. This game looks like generic trash, based on Chinese cultural aesthetics which itself is trash. I would rather have my finger nails slowly sanded off and my armpits stripped of skin and then splashed with salt before I'd ever play hot garbage like this. As if Black Myth Wugay wasn't fucking lame enough already, now the market is about to be flooded with this shit. ew.
