Game has been unsalvageable since Shadowbringers. I sure do enjoy every single expansion being dictated by Kingdom Hearts Emet's faggot ass checklist. The game I want to play just doesn't exist anymore and we can never go back.

Unpopular opinion but the game has been in an unavoidable death spiral since Shadowbringers. The wrote themselves into a corner with the Ancients and there's basically no way to go back and make the game compelling again.

Honestly, there's no saving XIV. People bitch about Dawntrail but fundamentally speaking the game switched course at the start of Shadowbringers. There's no going back, too much damage has been done already.
