2 black is a really solid option if the graphics and PC options are important to you. 2 is pretty much the definitive title for the 3D Ninja Gaiden games for better and for worse. That said I think it's best to start with the 2004 Ninja Gaiden, the master collection version of Sigma is a decent enough option.
