It's a matter of accepting the premise of the game as something that is a continuation, but still a different work that does new things.
Death Stranding 1

So far I have a bit of a preference for 1, but 2 is still a great game and does do some things better.
I hope Physint is wildly different though, like completely. No big huge open world, not 80+ hours long. Not sure about OD yet
