Canada's economy actually did ok during the great recession that's how strong it used to be. But years of bureaucratic bloat, zoning laws, "degrowth" policies, price controls, fuck tons of red tape, tons of unskilled immigrants lowing the value of workers, money printing, etc, the Economy has stagnating for decades. If Trump tarrifs Canada it's basically game over.
