She's been like this even before the canto though? I could understand the angle if she had shown more stuff prior to that, but she's always played the straight man, or level headed attitude of the group, with the occasional getting hot headed over shit, (which still happens, just not as often, like when she was trying to read the LCA report on abno ranks).
She acted neurotic an introspective because she was being made to face her trauma, now she faced it, and believes it's past her, so she has no reason to be as neurotic as before.
Out of curiosity, what would you want her to seemingly do after canto 5 that doesn't feel forced, or out of character from how she was already? Cause she was never a go-getter, she only did that once she quit her job, and it wasn't even a "I know this is what I want to do with myself", but more of a "This seems like a nice change of pace". The most proactive thing about her is constantly questioning stuff cause she's naturally curious, but that mostly extend to questions.

She can maintain count just fine, so I don't really get why everyone shits on the ID that hard, aside from solo stuff where she can't even dodge without triggering an instant loss, and can't build up rupture for shit.
Until Wei ID and the new Heishou comes out, and they happen to outpace her (which isn't that hard to be fair), she still has a slot on the current rupture team.
