Our humanoid form is a product of path dependency that started from our most ancient fish ancestors who happened to be quadrapeds that later evolved into aboreal animals and only after that descended back to ground.
Even on this fucking planet we can see non humanoid animals that posses intelligence, social organization and very primitive tool use.
