If you can't keep increasing prices then there's only so many other ways to squeeze victims of capitalism:

- shrink the product
- make the product shittier (e.g. use cellulose as filler)
- Cut costs by firing staff or cutting corners

There's 3 mobile internet providers in America, there was 4 until a few years ago when Sprint was allowed to be bought by T-Mobile

There's only a few NAND (SSD) producers in the world, including Samsung. They literally just all agreed to stop making NAND chips in 2023 because they got too cheap, that's what capitalism does when things get cheaper, just stop making it until it gets more expensive again

There's only two companies that control smartphones and their major app stores.

In fact, when demand drops, they increase prices to make up for the lost profit to shareholders, hoping the smaller number of people willing to pay more will counteract it.
