Why is Nintendo the only fanbase that responds to criticism of the brand or their recent output by insisting it's one person or a "villainous" gang of abstract bogeymen? I've never seen PC users respond to criticism of Steam by collectively calling everyone a "Michael". I've never seen Sony fans retort criticism of nu-GoW with "it's the lone Mongolian Peepootrannyschizo out to get Sony". Why is this trait exclusive to modern Nintendo loyalists?
