So basically I make my own musical apparatuses to create compositions that can contain little variable components and permutations so that the music I make can operate autonomously within a set of specific rules and parameters that I set for it. I basically built my own algorithms and let randomness help me out. It's not that hard, you can do it in Max/MSP.
