Avoided alcohol, avoided drugs, avoided getting some eating disorder even.
Yet the bear trap of porn addiction got me too.
Looking back to other people that grew alongside me and came out the other side much much worse, life really looks like a tunnel made out of barbed wire: you can't get through without getting lacerated at least once.

it's not worthless. but really its biggest merit is that it just keeps up with inflation. 1 ounce of gold will buy you basically the same amount of "stuff" now as it will in 50 years. it makes sense that governments experiencing severe inflation and deficit spending right now would buy something like this with their fiat dollars.
