Because a game only ever gets sales the first two weeks of its time on the market, huh? Besides, those are also only physical sales, we have no idea how many digital copies have sold. I'd wait at least until the end of year holidays or the first major sale on the game to see if it really was a flop. We all know and have been saying that Raidou was never going to be a huge hit when its a high-effort remaster of a niche game in an already fairly niche franchise, especially with the weirdly minimal amount of advertising it got in the West. It's really not doing as bad as some would think.

Probably the reason the game isn't referred to as a remake but just a remaster, they clearly just took some assets from the PS2 originals and gussied up what they really needed to. It would have been nice to see some of the especially crusty demons get a few more polygons at the least, but I guess they had their hands full with everything else and couldn't get to it. I can't be too mad when its clear a majority of the budget and manpower was all put into gameplay and environments.
