A notable step up over BG1 and the reviews are all complaining about irrelevant shit like a single tranny. The story was on par with BG1 in that it was terrible, but every combat encounter was better than in any other infinity engine game.
You can seethe about BG3 all you want but it is a level of quality the worlds largest IP should be able to produce instead of the trash that is routinely released.
