Mainly I liked the new cast, Yakumo, Seori, Umi, even Tyran are all charming and I found their dynamics fun. Yakumo especially, he feels appropriate as the disciplined, mission focused protagonist of a Ninja Gaiden game, but he's just a bit more vulnerable when compared to Ryu, and him rising to the occasion despite the setbacks was satisfying to see in the end. Ryu himself is also pretty good here, he feels expressive and there's good respect paid to the history of the character. Kagachi was alright, bit of a letdown, Misaki was a big let down. Overall it feels like a better done version of DMC4 to me, Yakumo does get to be the hero of the story and by the end, it feels like he's earned his place in the finale.

All of the Ninja Gaiden games have their appeal. I would not be surprised to see someone say any one of them is their favorite. I think that's the mark of an amazing franchise overall.

Pre-ordered Ninja Gaiden 4 Deluxe Edition for 90 euros. Expected to like it, but not as much as NGB and NGII, the more I play it, the more I realize NG4 is actually my favourite NG game and fare deeper and more difficult and fun than both NGB and NGII.
Pre-ordered Nioh 3 Digital Deluxe Edition for 120 euros. Gameplay wise it looks to be the best Nioh game, not a fan of the open-field, but it is what it is.
Feels good to have such good games to play and knowing that retards on /v/ will seethe about it.
