Despite the vitriol, I do agree with this, the most hurt by this initiative are the smaller developer teams that might want to fuck around with online capabilities, even just as a proof of concept thing, while large corpos will just sidestep their obligations on technicalities, or just invent a whole new hustle if the GaaS kikery gets its kneecaps busted
