UMINEKO IS THE BEST

The writers of the game should have just stuck with the initial premise, the expeditioners explore a hostile and unknown land trying to defeat the paintress was a more interesting story and Gustave was a more interesting main character. As it is, this game feels like wasted potential, like they had a 10/10 story on their hands and decided "oh i'm gonna subvert expectations" and ended up with a 5/10 story instead. Disappointing. More and more people are waking up to the fact that Expedition 33 is a middling game at best.
One of video games' most renowned critics just beat it, and dismantled it piece by piece regarding how mediocre it is.
