Okay so I have a "clear CMOS" button on the I/O panel on my motherboard

I did the following
>disconnected my computer from power
>set the PSU switch to the off position for good measure
>pressed the "clear CMOS" button
>held down the power button on my PC for like 30 seconds
>have left my computer unplugged for almost 24 hours
