Actually they are Dodge tanks. Black Panther and Spiderman are exceptionally difficult to kill when played well. So they still count as tanky melee in my humble opinion.

Mayhaps whilst in the Darklands, do as the darklanders do? Bring an expendable army of unpaid interns to make the attack and eat the mortar fire. Then reinforce with your actual stack.
