What enrages me about this shot is that it's such an easy fix. They just needed to do a few cuts where some stand-in did the kicking with his face obscured mixed with some close-ups. But Scorcese wanted muh long take so he stuck with his original intent even though it clearly wasn't working. He was trying so hard to show off that he ended up making a fool of himself instead.

Back when it first started there was actual CP spammed in the general threads by someone attempting to have them auto shut down. A single janny kept moving the threads to /pol/ since it was 'political' but in reality it was because they didn't want to clean it up. Since then they just nuke them quickly because of that.
