>come across a character design I really like
>write a character in my story loosely inspired by the design without knowing anything about that story
>later read the work the original character was from
>the charcter is EXACTLY the same as the one I wrote
how the fuck? Now what do I do? Rewrite every scene starring the character? FFFUUUUUU

Its an interesting thing. I remember when I was younger I was playing different games, different genres, trying everything, I dont even like racing games yet have a dirth of racing games played that I actually like, same with RTS, JRPGs and fighting games. Kids now are born with Fortnite and Minecraft, and its still the only thing they play going into high school, I dont know if I feel bad for them, they seem to actually like these games.

Heres another interesting thing, it seems there is a condition now among zoomers being raised on streamers. Children will talk to themselves constantly when playing a game or doing activities as though they are talking to an audience, and cant go 10 seconds with "dead air" so they just talk complete random shit like repeating memes and make noises so there isnt silence. Its going to be something seeing them grown up.

Thats one thing no other generation can say, for better or worse;they werent born with the internet in their hand as babies.

Question, what kind of hardware specs are needed to run a server? I assume that unfortunately it must be run on Windows too, amirite?

By "Injection" attacks I assume you mean SQL injection? Or something else? This should be trivial to protect against.

What kind of DDoS are we talking? Is it just saturating the link or is it something that requires far less bandwidth?

It doesn't really sound that hard to overcome honestly. One could run everything inside a KVM guest and filter with nftables from the host. If it is enough to severely impact a 10gbit link then find a host that can handle this, or find other more creative solutions.

Every new console gen but that doesn't really apply anymore with optimization varying wildly nowadays, shitty overpriced hardware, DLSS/FSR upscaling fuckery and goy tracing niggery.
>sapphire 290
Lasted me the entire PS4 gen.
>5700XT
Got this pos for cheap right before crypto/covid price hike.
>RX 9070
Got it a few months ago for a decent price and happy with it. Time will tell how long it will last.
