Figuring out whether or not a product will cause acne for you is a matter of trial and error. I can't use cerave due to allergies but I know a lot of people rave about the stuff in the tub.
A lot of people rave about avene cicalfate for moisture barrier repair as well. It wasn't for me but it has zinc in it which can be really good. Same stuff that is in diaper rash cream. I've tried incorporating avene products back into my routine because I loved extreme emulsion but their other stuff seems to drive my skin ballistic.

Please don't. Dermarollers are not equivalent to what professionals use. It can cause infections and scarring. I now a lot of people rave about professional microneedling but I don't have the money for that.
