Not really. Of the 3.5 million, the US was only about 1 million (1.1 I think). That seems good but the US usually makes up 40-50 percent of total sales, so it's not selling that great. Also, despite what Tendies claim, think, have you heard anyone bitching about not being able to get one? This has happened for Nintendo's other successful consoles but not really here. Third party games doing poorly and amiibos being shelf warmers are probably not good signs.
Most likely, Switch 2 is going to be a lot like the 3DS. Does well in Japan but struggles elsewhere. Sales numbers will still be 70-80 million but Nintendo is going to struggle to sell the thing throughout its life.
