/v/ - BULLET GIRLS PHANTASIA BANNED IN TEXAS

Yeah, cause pic related sure had "right-wing" written all over it, didn't it? If you didn't wanna drive gamers and weebs to the right, maybe you shouldn't have promoted and encouraged this shit. 99% of the libs bitching about this now didn't give a fuck when consoles banned fanservice or Japanese doujin vendors got fucked by credit cards left and right the past few years, they only started caring when their itch.io shit got hit.

Reminder that the people who keep hyperemphasizing Project 2025's role in this just want you to vote Dem so they can fire the ESG/DEI machine back up and put back the Bluesky trannyfaggot games to placate them while Japanese games will keep getting cucked and pozzed.
They want you to pretend they had zero role in the massive censorship of games in the past decade and how the rightward shift was in part a rejection of that. They will act like they dindu nuffin because "they didn't pass any laws", but they sure as shit got all in the major companies and financial sectors and started pushing policies targeting heterosexual content GLOBALLY. It is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to make games like Senran Kagura or Gal*Gun ANYWHERE, even in Japan, any more because of them.
Do not be fooled. Put the pressure on the card companies (which have been doing this for a decade, well before their favorite boogeyman Russ Vought came into office), and on lawmakers to pass laws striking down "brand protection" clauses, the main cause and justification they have been using for their censorship. 90% of modern censorship is at the private level, and it is high time for private censorship to be addressed as a concept. Dems and shitlibs want to distract you from it because private censorship is THEIR #1 tool for stamping out opposition and content they don't like, and because most private entities are multinational, their efforts tangibly affects things on a global level, as seen with policies pushed by companies like Sony and Microsoft.

California Snoy is the whole reason Omega Labyrinth Z couldn't release anywhere, you tard.
>b-but where's the laws
That's not leftoids works and you know it. They take over institutions and implement their desired policies through them. There's no laws saying you can't buy or sell Senran Kagura or any other Japanese ecchi game, but they're still fucking dead because of corporate censorship policies pushed by lefties infecting every major platform, effectively embargoing them from the market and making them virtually impossible to make any more. They don't make things illegal, they *just* make it so hard to make that no one will bother. Yeah, you can have freedom of speech, *just* only on platforms so tiny and unknown compared to Twitter, Facebook, etc. that you're basically just talking into the void, effectively silencing you anyway. Freedom of speech isn't freedom of reach, chud!

Voting the Dems back in won't fix this you tard, they hate anime too. They'll just put the fagshit back to appease the Bluesky crowd and continue the war against anything anime or Japanese like they've been doing for nearly a decade at least. They'll also turn the USAID and ESG/DEI spickets back on to continue pozzing what's left.

It blossomed into Sony's censorship policies in 2018, which have since become industry-wide. Not one significant platform would host Tokyo Clanpool in 2024, a game that would have released without issues everywhere except maybe Xbox in 2017. That is basically service denial in all but name.

This at least gives devs some ground to stand on. It's been argued that ESG/DEI is motivating a lot of this censorship since 2018. Sony literally cited #MeToo. That's politically motivated. The Senate/House bill extends it further to any debanking or platforming for brand or reputational reasons, and that's what we want. Moreover, it shows there's momentum behind this.

Oh boy, so I should have voted for the people that killed Senran Kagura instead, repped by pajeet Hillary Clinton? So they can keep the ESG/DEI train going to pozz Japan from the inside while mass-importing foreigners to replace me in my own country and gloating about it? You wanted me to vote for THAT?

Completely and utterly delusional or gaslighting jew? You call it. It wasn't tradtards writing up articles about how Dead or Alive is a rape simulator, and it wasn't christcucks that Sony gave as the reason why they started censoring Japanese games.

I have not heard of a single otaku game being banned by the Japanese government. I have however, seen them constantly targeted and harassed by Sony and Nintendo. Most of the most popular ecchi moege games were released during the 10s, and they all blamed Sony, not the Japanese government, when the bans and censorship started rolling in. Neither Sony nor Nintendo blamed the Japanese government for forcing restrictions on them, either, when Sony did speak, they gave explicitly gaijin Californian feminist reasoning, and it happened almost immediately after they moved control of the Playstation to a Californian office. So I am not inclined to believe the Japanese government has any significant role in this, or if they do, it is extremely minor compared to what is being done directly by corpo platforms in the name of "global standards" (read: twitter trannies and feminists).
