>absolutely raped the entire soul/silk system because of the healing changes
>only to introduce the new broken bullshit that are the tools and architect crest
>made the charm system even worse by not only significantly cucking the available slots but also forcing the retarded blue/yellow split when there's barely 3 good yellow charms
>giganuked the charge attacks by denying silk generation and removing two of them
I really liked the first game but sequel somehow went ass backwards on basically everything i liked about 1.

>the double damage from nearly everything together with a very backloaded availability of health upgrades means you don't feel getting any tougher as the game progresses until you're deep into act 2
>instead you get the silk capacity upgrades all over the place which are USELESS AS FUCK thanks to traversal tools using silk, you cannot physically build a silk pool between encounters because clawlines will reset it to null
>sword upgrades are even worse, enjoy having to hit enemies 8 times to kill them until late game
>crests just break what could've been a single awesome moveset into a huge number of chunks, and since you cannot hotswap between them, there's virtually no reason to use crests with shit pogo because aerial combat is very important for any encounter and traversal
>magic is garbage with a singular exception of a late game spell
>but tools are held back by the retarded crafting system, if you actively use your tools you will never refund their cost via simple exploration, meaning you need to grind for resources, and god help you if you want to use them in boss battles
>there are stretches were 3-4 minibosses in a ROW use infinite adds to create a semblance of difficulty for encounter
>map is dreadful, pins may as well be useless because they are so big placing them anywhere will completely obscure that segment of the map
>charm system is even a bigger piece of shit than it was in the first game and it makes sure no weaker or "funny" charm will ever earn its place in your arsenal because of how limited the slots are
This is what happens when you spend years sniffing your own farts and getting zero outside perspective on your project. The vast majority of these systems were better done in the first game. Absolutely terrible.

When you buy a book or a DVD with a film you also technically "buy a license". That's why you are technically not allowed to screen that DVD to multiple people for pay, or photocopy the book and sell copies, even though you "own" it.
The issue is, the Warner Brothers Gestapo can't break into your house and confiscate your DVD and burn it because they decided they are "withdrawing your license" since they rereleased the same film on Blu-Ray now.

Alicia and her entire family are demiurges capable of creating worlds, but they never managed to accept the burden that comes with such a power and treated these worlds as amusement parks, escapism, or a space for self-expression. I would pick Alicia's ending PURELY because it means their entire family will continue reaping what they sow, their irresponsiveness and selfishness made a myriad of thinking creatures suffer, so they deserve prolonged suffering as well.
