I think the only thing that can kill the game at this point is a catastrophically bad balance patch, like Tekken 8 S2 levels. I didn't really follow RoA before 2 because I didn't like the look of the original game's pixel art, but it's clear that they have a dedicated fan base who are willing to buy the MTX and merchandise that allows the game to be so cheap for people who just want to play. They sold a plushie with an attached skin at the beginning of the month and it sold out in like 3 hours or something ridiculous. I don't know who the fuck these people are, I'm just here to fight.

MVS would have lived if it wasn't so badly mismanaged though. Most consumers care more about IPs than gameplay.
