Mazinger was probably more planned out in advanced before going into production, Getter Robo likely had a shorter window of time. I thought both had solid animation by mid 70s standards. Check out the old Asahi shows or Matsumoto works at the same time, those could get quite cheap and I say that as someone that likes 70s mechankore than most folks here.
