No-one's anticipating the next SNK game. The only people caring about the next KOF/KOF16 are going to be the same few Mexican, Chinese, and Korean boomers that have been playing for the last 20 years, while you hear snickers and giggle from the rest. COTW was their final chance to put out a hit, and they raped it and their whole reputation beyond salvation. The only popularity, positivity, and attention anything about them will receive for the foreseeable future is their characters being in another company's game that's the biggest Fighting Game of the past 18 years.

Really, we should be thanking Capcom that SNK is still even on anyone's minds. The remaining devs there that still hold reverence for SNK are doing God's work. They're truly carrying them.
