To be fair, it's a comparatively tiny studio working on a project of vastly grander scale than they're used to. Even when they were working on Magicka, the initial release was so buggy they released an extra skin purely as an apology.

After the tutorial it's a boring ubisoft openworld with broken navmeshes, the same enemies you fought in the tutorial respawning infinitely so you can grind for 5% more damage on Tuesdays. (Except for two more bosses.)
If you can justify paying for a hour, and a half of gameplay, and just quit when they start the slop, sure it was amusing.
