>1. Allen loses in overtime. The league changed the overtime rules.
I really hope you're not the same Chiefsfag that keeps complaining about Brady "wining a coin toss" in OT of the AFCGC. Because that would be hypocrisy.
>2. Allen didn't get 4th down. The league added virtual measurements.
Except he did get it, and everyone saw him get it. They added virtual measurements so the refs can't make calls so bad it brings the integrity of the game into question again. Besides, if the league actually wanted to show favoritism for Allen they could have just, you know, given him the fucking first down.
>3. There's controversy over the team waking Josh Allen up with smelling salts, they ban it.
If Allen was using them regularly banning them isn't helping him
>4. Allen was losing against the Bengals. The league let them get a do-over game after Hamlin went down.
You don't call football games midway through. This isn't like baseball where there's 52464352346 more games and no one cares if you just fast-forward through one.
>5. Allen had significantly worse stats than Lamar, lost the head to head, and didn't get the 1 seed yet they gifted him MVP.
No one wanted to give Lamar MVP again because they knew he would just lose in the postseason and make it seem like they made the wrong choice. And he did lose...to Allen.

>like possessing turrets. its hard for games to make things like that make sense over just doing more damage

a) you don't possess turrets in 1, you hack them. Possession was in Infinite. 1 has the enrage plasmid
b) the hacking ability has no effect on your damage output and costs nothing except maybe a shot of electro bolt so there's no reason not to hack things. It eliminates an enemy while giving you a permanent ally and if you do it at the right time it's a very effective booby trap
c) Every ability in the game is situationally useful to some extent even if some are blatantly more useful than others. I thought security bullseye was completely pointless but then I used it to tag thuggish splicers or big daddies who were in the right spot at the right time because I didn't have time to hack the turret or camera they were in range of and it works really well. There's some places where you have multiple turrets close by and a camera and it just sets them all off instantly. Not consistently useful but in the right spot it hits big.

Similarly, I ignored the target dummy because in my head it just didn't seem like it would make any real difference but then I realized it completely becomes the enemy's #1 priority even if they were already on top of you and can buy you breathing room whenever you need it, or keep splicers from targeting your hacked turrets.. And you can use it to lure enemies to specific areas if you've set up traps.

There's not a lot of occasions where a specific ability is absolutely necessary but you can get use out of any of them if you try new things.

You faggots talk as if the NBA season was massively expanded beyond where it normally was at some point, but it's been 82 games since forever and somehow players were able to deal with it despite having worse nutrition, training, and medical tech available at the time.

Wilt played 80+ games nine times and had 2 more years of 79 games played

John Havlicek played 11 80+ game seasons

Jordan had 11 80+ game seasons and his last was at age 39

John Stockton has 16 seasons where he missed ZERO games

Tim Duncan's team was one of the pioneers of load management and he still played 6 seasons of 80+ games and was in the high 70's for most of the others

Curry has played 80 games 2 times
Tatum has played 80 games once
Embiid has never even played 70 games

These guys are playing the same schedule everyone always had and are getting WAY more rest than previous generations. So what's their fucking problem? You need more games off? Bitch, you're already taking them.

This post is facetious because you act like the choice is between a guy with mediocre productivity for a long time or a guy with MVP-tier production for a short time. But the whole point is that the guys we're talking about did both.

Jerry Rice didn't just average okay stats for a really long time, he led the league in yards and touchdowns six times. Brady led the league in TDs five times and set the league record for completions in his 22nd season. They were consistently near the top of the league in productivity AND had implausibly long careers. You understand? It's not an either / or wiht them. They had the 10 year career of the first guy you described, but then did it again. That's why their records are most likely untouchable
