I'd like to remind everyone that we haven't gotten any teasers about chapters 6 and 7 in general. Toby initially planned to release chapters 2, 3, 4, and 5 together, then chapters 3, 4, 5, etc. And now chapter 5 will be a standalone release.
Toby is in other words clearly separating the story into chapters 1-5 and the rest. Gerson didn't write about what happens after chapter 5 either. It's looking very likely that the last two chapters will go full Evangelion.
It's pointless to try to speculate about what happens after chapter 5 since there is every indication that things will diverage so much, even on the normal route, that predictions will be impossible

Kris does seem to warm up to Ralsei from ch2 to ch4. When Ralsei asks if it's okay for him to have his own desires as a Darkners and you try to answer "of course not", Kris will yawn on the last word so it sounds like "of course". All we say at the end of ch4 is "comfort Ralsei", but Kris goes as far as to kneel down and hug him. I won't argue Kris has demonstrated romantic feelings for Ralsei but there is a movement from us forcing Kris to robotically be nice to Ralsei to Kris showing an independent desire to at least stop Ralsei from wanting to kill himself, and more specifically to support Ralsei in feeling like an independent person.
All that said, writing this out has not helped me think of why Ralsei is a goat whose name is an anagram of Asriel.
