I think it's two things:
1. Kris might be playing double-agent and updating Ralsei on whatever it is he's doing while (You) are distracted. Ralsei needs to creat these openings to give Kris the opportunity to speak in private.
2. Ralsei predictably chooses waiting for Susie's major character-building moments to break off and "summon" you to her. In every one of these cases, (you) appear to be given the controls but you have no effect on how anything plays out, so (You)r presence has no bearing on the outcome either way.
It's almost as if Ralsei wants (you) to witness it simply to ensure the player is more endeared to Susie in some capacity. Maybe he thinks that's important for whatever role he's trying to set her up to play. (Similar to how during the Sans fight in Undertale he admits he tried to be fun and make (you) laugh in hopes it would make not be a fucking psychopath and kill all his friends and family)

Honestly? My ideal for Genocide Frisk/Chara appearing would be for the SOUL we're playing as to ALSO be Frisk. Both your Frisk and their Frisk think you're the player who was controlling them during Undertale...but your Frisk never did the Genocide route.
