Ragatha is pretty much doing everything to herself at this point. Jax even sort of pointed this out, albeit in a mocking way that she wouldn't ever actually listen to. She's wearing herself out fighting a war that he only sees as minor bantz at most.
Pomni making an attempt to understand Jax instead of just wholly writing him off as nothing more than an irredeemable sociopath doesn't mean they're now best friends or that she will become a mini-Jax. Like she said herself in bar, she clearly hasn't forgotten or gotten over the fact that he threw her out of a moving vehicle on a whim for a cheap laugh. On the other hand, her trying to counteract Jax and "protect" Pomni as though she were a child is straining their relationship. It's already very telling that Pomni felt the need hide her laughter to avoid upsetting Ragatha. Pomni already has a closer relationship with her than everyone else, and she's straining it by trying to ENSURE Pomni won't ever stop liking her.
It will be an abstract fakeout. They'll do an inverse of the pilot and have Pomni stand her ground against an abstracting Ragatha while everyone else flees. Kinger will have a moment of lucidity and back up the talk-no-jutsu by pointing out how heavily losing someone you care about is. Zooble will be the first to abstract and no one will be able to stop due to not enough about or having similar enough experiences to relate. then get worn out when the task of being the group therapist is now solely on her shoulders
