I don't believe it, but the guy is on his own in a hospital room - meaning large periods of time he could be unaccounted for by other characters, giving him a window to operate within.
He has potential for motive (Dess missing), nothing to loose if the world were to end (he is dying) He is part of the Holiday family, and in the know on some level about the bunker, he is overly friendly - gives off not exactly trustworthy vibes like Ralsei as a result.
He's got enough going to be a likely candidate, should Dess not end up being the Knight.

I think those threads contributed a lot to the processing of my experience for the game. When i first played the game 3 weeks ago i ended chapter 4 thinking that
1. Noelle just falling for Susie because she's a lesbian
2. That Carol is the knight (didn't even know what Dess is)
3. That Titan was the hardest enemy and you aren't supposo to beat the Knight
4. That theres only one route

After these threads now i know better that
1. Suselle is just some trauma cope of Noelle and the story will diverge between Kriselle and Krusie
2. That Dess is very likely the knight
3. Not only story bosses are easy but there are much harder bonus boss with shadow crystal each level and you need shadow mantle to beat the knight

There is nothing wrong with taking inspiration or straight up using someone's art.
The problem is how Toby made a pretentious character of himself. The way he represents himself, the way he speaks publicly in front of his audience, the way he tries so hard to be a Japanese Dev.
Toby knows most of his music and ideas are derived or straight up stolen from others. And instead of actually crediting them or even linking a few song he has used, he wanted to be known as a indie dev messiah. Undertale was a hit on the Internet when it released and every single person you knew though Toby Fox was an absolute genius and his OST was a genuine masterpiece in every sense.
Anyone that doesn't use 4chan in the fandom has a completely different and ambitious idea of how truly Toby Fox is. And he decided to embrace every single exaggerated compliment at him.
What's even worse. Toby had the balls to call out Matpat for linking undertale to a completely different game for views, publicly humiliating him and damaging his image in social media.
He told him that "creators need all help they can get" and that he should link EVERY game he plays.
Which is ironic, because if we talk about composing music, suddenly "You don't have to link every song you took inspiration from", as he never did and decided to embrace the fame. Toby is both a hypocritical and an asshole.
He even tries to appear as an "ally" to the LGBT and plebbit audience by staying "neutral", when their views are completely different. We are talking about the same dude who made the Halloween hack, said faggot multiple times and made racist jokes. This is like saying some dude who visits /pol/ redeemed himself. Bullshit.
He never tried to acknowledge topics as transexual, gender identity or nonbinary whatever the fuck is on his games in an attempt to appeal to them, but also staying "neutral". His true self will always be someone who lurks around here. He even referred to Frisk as a boy a couple of times.

The entire Mike phenomena and the whole Friend Inside Me shtick was pseudo mocked exactly because it was nonsense over reaching its boundaries. People saw episode 2 and tried to scope out the entirety of the next 5 chapter with elaborate mentions of a character that existed for about 2 lines or was barely mentioned at all. You don't need a corkboard, you need basic theories that are solid enough you can build upon them. My take is that both Noelle and Kris are projecting hardcore on Susie. Kris projects Dess, Noelle projects both Dess and Kris.

Nta but he said "Ralsei's prophecy." Chapter 4 shits on Ralsei's prophecy. Instead of showing a picture of Kris, it says the first hero is a cage made of human soul and parts, and the reason why it doesn't show their silhouette is probably because it's actually the vessel we make at the beginning of the game. The second hero does not look like Susie at all, it looks like a cloaked Noelle wielding a sword. The third hero could be Ralsei but it's suspicious that it still looks like his "original" form, like Ralsei only dressed that way to make us think he was one of the heroes and it's actually somebody else. Then the prophecy says, "And then there was a girl," twice, and says nothing else about this fourth person, but it shows Susie's symbol so it's probably her. It doesn't describe this person as a hero. The prophecy then teases you on and on about what'll happen to "the girl," but it's showing the Noelle silhouette, so it probably has nothing to do with Susie. Unless the pane Susie broke definitively mentions her, like saying the girl is fed to a dragon or something.

But even then, the real prophecy is bollocks. Not because it won't come true, but because prophecies in fiction are always vague enough that they can be interpreted a million different ways. That was the entire point of Gerson's dialogue about it. The prophecy inspired his book and his book inspired Dragon Blazers and whenever characters talk about them you can see the parallel between them and the events of Deltarune, but they're never 100% the same, they're up to interpretation. You can tell the same story over and over again, changing small details here and there, but the general idea will be the same.
