I did end up getting a PS5 this year, but it's because I don't own a PC and it was from a secondhand electronics store in Ohio for $250. It ran fine and everything, just was missing a cord that connects the controller to the console, but that's just a simple USB cord. Still, I wish we'd get cheaper consoles, I can't see myself paying over $400 for a video game machine.
