I put Iron Will on my Grass Wonder. Its actually saving her ass from gassing despite being mostly wasted in the first half. I had no other choice, I got fucked in Stamina training and she wasnt going to make it any other way. Iron Will SAVED my grass wonder.

I wound up with a 9* power parent while trying to cook something up for her so thats why. I do think power might be a key factor. It looks like she doesnt have enough stam on paper but you can plug it in the umalator and that retarded iron will gives her just enough to survive. Look at how a character like Tamamo is depicted in game vs the serious Cinderella Gray. Shes almost a joke character in game, but in the show she’s a badass.

I actually noticed something similar with Suzuka as well. She’s much more animated and vocal in game than in the show where she keeps her stoic silent vibe going, not making much noise. But in the game people are going to want to see more intimate sides of each uma so it makes sense they’d make them more expressive.

also the reason Mihono might have been more stiff in the anime is just due to not much animation budget for this first few seasons lol. same horses every time and sometimes they'll just randomly beat eachother for no particular reason.

there's variation in the tracks (which are also RNG) so for longs you might have one racer better suited to 2500m who would get 6th on 32-3600m
I have it with mediums - my ace wins 2000m, but if it rolls 2400m, I'll have to hope one of my others steps up

If you don't have a whale deck, I highly doubt a McQueen will work, as even Golshi who is the absolute best option to train here will have difficulty if you are F2P. I don't have mcqueen but I tried Special week and the problem is always the same, that you cannot gain enough power with speed training, and if you focus too much on speed your stamina will linger. You also need a lot of luck and gamble on high failure trainings, while you also need to get S on long.
This whole gemini cup is fucked, so I think its better just throwing whatever best you have to it and preparing for cancer cup, which will be much more pleasant for f2ps especially.
