I put Iron Will on my Grass Wonder. Its actually saving her ass from gassing despite being mostly wasted in the first half. I had no other choice, I got fucked in Stamina training and she wasnt going to make it any other way. Iron Will SAVED my grass wonder.

Look at how a character like Tamamo is depicted in game vs the serious Cinderella Gray. Shes almost a joke character in game, but in the show she’s a badass.

I actually noticed something similar with Suzuka as well. She’s much more animated and vocal in game than in the show where she keeps her stoic silent vibe going, not making much noise. But in the game people are going to want to see more intimate sides of each uma so it makes sense they’d make them more expressive.

If you don't have a whale deck, I highly doubt a McQueen will work, as even Golshi who is the absolute best option to train here will have difficulty if you are F2P. I don't have mcqueen but I tried Special week and the problem is always the same, that you cannot gain enough power with speed training, and if you focus too much on speed your stamina will linger. You also need a lot of luck and gamble on high failure trainings, while you also need to get S on long.
This whole gemini cup is fucked, so I think its better just throwing whatever best you have to it and preparing for cancer cup, which will be much more pleasant for f2ps especially.

This is my best Golshi so far, and I have some skill points left over. I'm almost certainly getting Curvature, other than that the main choice is between Uma Stan and a white heal. Due to my low Guts (yes, really) I'm currently ending with ~80 HP, so I think I should probably take a white heal to guard against debuffs.

Running a front runner in Long is very hard to do unless you specifically trained her with that in mind. You need a lot of stamina and a good amount of wit to both optimize your front's speed and consistently activate your recoveries. The main problem with front runners in these distances is that even if they make it with some stamina left, they need skills to press the advantage and finish the race. With that said, you should make her a Pace chaser and get double long corners. That S in long should make up for the low strenght she has, and her unique skill triggers a lot more easily when she's not a front runner.

Think of her as a hardmode Ogurin. Push speed hard, your other 2 focus should be on power and wit. The idea is that your speed is just so overwhelmingly high it doesnt allow for error, you should cap it a bit earlier.
Your biggest concern is always to not get boxxed. This is done via switching running styles. Usually the longer = late, shorter= pace. Wit can patch up stam shortcomings via skills.
Triumphant pulse is an absolute must.

Yeah I think a lot of people will be very pleasantly surprised with how they end up ranking. The average player only does a couple of careers every once in a while, pumps speed and doesn't pull for support cards and is satisfied. Even the "shitter" umas that are posted here still have A+ stamina or so which is leagues better than the normalfag with a 300 stamina tachyon with a gold recoveries and three whites. Of course you won't see platinum unless you get VERY lucky with matchups or have really good umas. But the average anon in this thread will make it to finals in group A, that is my prediction

Oguri is still good but she’s not as strong as last time. This is a golshi race. If you are to run Oguri, 700 stam is nowhere near enough. Pace chasers require a ton of stamina, and this race in general is a huge stamina demand. People are recommending max stamina and two gold heals, that’s how nuts it is. Your oguri would gas HARD, you need a new one. Run a 3-3 stamina/speed deck with a borrowed super creek, and inherit a bunch of stamina sparks would be advice, but this one is hard. Most people will be unprepared. Just focus on getting stamina as high as possible w/ gold recoveries. Its not a joke, long races are brutal

Some are suspecting its Golshi’s increased power growth (10%). That extra acceleration might make the difference when speed is maxed out. Ive heard metafags explain acceleration as the chokepoint for this race, for most races really. Its why acceleration abilities like straightaway spurt is so important. The Taishins Im seeing have 600ish power, whereas Golshis are sitting around 700-800. It matters if both have the same speed even if Taishin has a slightly stronger ability. Better acceleration means you hit the max speed faster.

…so imo the solution is for taishin to inherit power sparks. Golshi has really good stamina growth too so she hits her cap easy and can invest more in other stuff. Id say Taishins ought to focus more on having just enough stamina, inheriting more power sparks, and more abilities like long/end corners/straightaways, maybe rudolf and oguri’s ability too if you got the points for it.
