Do all the main story quests and events
Once that runs out, do exploration quests, companion quests, guidebook progress
Once that runs out, do exploration. Find chests, do overworld challenges, etc. Rinascita is the fastest region to progress
While you're doing all that, if you're enjoying the game, it's highly recommended to buy a lunite subscription.
You can get everything you want with all the pulls you get from doing the above.

There're always 1-2 types of enemies on each side with the same resistance. Last 2-3 whiwa cycles were mostly anti spectro. They need to sell you more characters so they handicap you on purpose, but even regular RPG games always have enemies that resist different types of attributes/damage types, so it's nothing new.
It's actually quite mild in wuwa compared to, say, PGR, where you either use exact shilled attribute or your ranked score plummets even if you try to brute force with any other team

If you are autistic enough you could reroll until you get any of the currently available ones (like shorekeeper or even augusta if you want to dabble) in a very small amount of pulls
But if you just want to do it legit, playing through the story and unlocking all of the areas and completing exploration will give a truckload of pulls. Definitely enough for both Shorekeeper and Iuno with some to spare.
Beyond that there's a ton of permanent events available that take a while but also reward 5-7 pulls each. The endgame modes give a bunch too so even if you are brand new and can only clear the first 1-2 stages of that its probably 1-2 pulls at least.

There are elements in the game, sometimes enemies will have element resistances increased or decreased, or some echoes will have element damage associated with them or resonators and so on. So you can boost havoc type damage from all attacks basic attack, heavy, resonance skill or liberation. But there are attack specific bonuses like heavy or liberation.

The name isn't because of the sun, but inspired on the novel with the same name where the planet itself is alive and the laws of physics is whatever it desires (similar to the lament). I thought the pioneer association existed because they were exploring a new world (what would be the point of exploring earth at that future point), but their description doesn't make it clear. And then there are stuff like astrite that comes from space civilization but it's not clear if it's canon (even though characters in the game like the fake cosmos and the little girl in ragunna reference it).

yeah, its just a VN. weeklies is just whatever. Even the most bare minimum will get you 85% of the currency and can be cranked out in like 10 minutes and new releases are guarenteed on release. Story is pure dogshit from chapters 1-8, then 9-13 is just okay. 14 onwards is when it starts getting legitimately good. ch 16, 17, and 21 in particular are fucking amazing. The 1.0 content is honestly rough. They throw lots of proper nouns at you hard and fast and the story itself is largely a boring and confusing fetch quest alongside pretty boring characters. Jinzhou itself is also a pretty drab hub. The roster was so small that a better Verina was necessary, and SK does a fantastic job as you want to have two healers you can rely on. It was kind of the same really, but open-worldish instead of small crafted maps with just one way to go through. So you can do sub-missions, collect tons of stuff and do challenges on each sub-area of the map until 100% or just run to the boss. Gameplay-wise the gimmick is that you can switch between samurai mode (with the ki mechanic to press after the attack to recover and heavy weapons like the odachi) and ninja mode focused on agility and fast weapons like the kusari and dual sword (and each of them has their own armor set, so you switch from heavy to light armor). It's generally good, but I'm kinda tired of open world stuff (wuwa is a lot more about experiencing the world in the story and isn't too dense in the collect stuff so I have no trouble with that) and it didn't seem to do much different in terms of combat that I already have at least 500 hours (all weapons had the base katana parry though, but not the extended one which was fun, it also has the second jump from wo long).

For added info, yes, there are characters that see a large damage falloff without their BiS, but that damage falloff puts them on par with other limiteds, which is the case for Carte and Zani. Their DPS will not be meaningfully different from the DPS of other top tier characters with their second best teams. Carte and Zani without Cia or Phoebe deal similar DPS to Camellya or Carlotta, for example, give or take a few thousand.
As with signature weapons, it's always more of a question of how far you want to push their damage or if you're okay with dealing "just" similar DPS to other limiteds.

Kuro does it this way because they're too lazy to balance every new echo around every existing character and their moveset or mechanics. So now echoes are just extensions of new characters, to the point where False Sovereign actually appears in Augusta's intro skill which surprised me. On top of that, people in 1.0 complained hard about echoes feeling disruptive for rotations. The average player was never interested in engaging with the system, and maybe they would be if Kuro put a lot more effort into it, but we're stuck here for now.

I think her sword swings should be more like Taoqi's sword swings in terms of animation speed. The excessively fast swings just kills any sense of weight.
