Yeah, I’ve used them on a team before and it mostly works, but both are intended to be used as the primary damage dealer and you get more mileage out of splitting them into two teams than running them together. Vivian is a better partner for both of them than each other, particularly for Alice.

Her energy requirement for her EX special is pretty low and it gives a full bar, you can swap her in do two EX’s and a short string of basic attacks and fill it up almost instantly, launch her enhanced attack and switch back to another character to get hits in while she does the animation. I genuinely don't get the appeal of Vivian. I figured that after she dropped her whole dark, edgy goth girl persona she initially had when she was introduced into the story in 1.6 and revealed herself to be nothing more than obsessive (you) fangirl, she'd have put most people off. Yet I look around, mainly here, and see tons of simping for her. She has one of the highest amounts of fanart of any character in the game (despite being a alate addition who literally came out of nowhere). Like I genuinely don't get it, is it just virgins who've never even had a shred of interest showed in them by a girl in their entire lives, let alone a girlfriend? This type of girl is the opposite of the kind you'd want in real life, usually people find blatant simpery that goes straight to stalker behavior (Vivian literally admits to sniffing your underwear).

Like I can only imagine it's guys who've never had any female affection in their entire lives because otherwise any normal guy would be put off by a girl who comes on that strongly and creepishly and makes her entire personality obsessing over you. I can understand people who think she's just hot or cute or whatever but I cannot fathom the unironic simping for her.
