I work for the military and have in my possession absolute and unassailable proof the Earth is flat, also that governments have been actively hiding it from us.

It's no fantasy. I've been to one of the outer islands, when I was in the military.

They tried to keep what was going on secret even from us, but it's impossible to keep something like that completely secret aboard a ship, especially with so many men familiar with navigation, etc.

We couldn't talk about it openly, beyond a few veiled comments, but as far as we could figure, we were operating on a minor island of Xeonesia on that map. The cover story version they told us was that we went from New Zealand toward Antarctica and then circled around to some sub-Antarctic island somehow, but it was obviously not the case from the overall southernly direction of travel, and there's nothing in that area that makes sense. They were intentionally non-explicit about it, but I think they were trying to imply we were on Macquarie Island, which is total bullshit. Macquarie Island is very distinctive in a number of ways to anyone even slightly familiar with it.

The weather patterns where we were can only be described as 'weird'. Like the flora and fauna it was casually passable as 'normal', but something about it was definitely just a little out of whack the more and closer you looked. The whole backdrop became increasingly unnerving as your subconscious became louder and louder trying to tell you something was wrong. One of the creepiest feelings I've ever had in my life. Made worse by the fact you couldn't really point to anything specific.

It just felt like you shouldn't be there - odd as that sounds. And I don't mean in the international jurisdictional sense, I mean like as a human being - like we don't belong there at all. Looking around at my colleagues I knew they all felt it too, we all knew what everyone was feeling.
