i realized i accidentally forgot to check whether the manually shortened paragraphs started/ended with a space (depending on left/right alignment respectively), and this edit had the last two ending in a space (which i guess i just typed out manually without realizing, independent of aligning them). fixed version here:

i've noticed enough mistakes after posting that i will make a checklist of things to check before doing the "stroke" (outline) layers, which is when amending mistakes would become annoying. off the top of my head (and based off the previous mistakes i've noticed since posting, it should include:
-copy all text into notepad++ (separating each text box by the enter key [double-spacing manually shortened paragraphs for legibility]), then paste into the 4chan "quick reply" window in your browser for autocorrect
-confirm that punctuation signifying the end of a sentence is followed by a space (unless it's the end of the paragraph)
-confirm that punctuation is not preceded by a space (unless they're sound effects, opening parentheses, or closing hyphens)
-confirm that the first letter of every sentence is capitalized (barring special circumstance such as an ellipsis demanding being followed by a lowercase letter to signify being the same sentence)
-confirm apostrophes are where they should be (making sure not to conflate "it's" and "its", "who's" and "whose", etc.)
-counts periods in ellipses to confirm they all have three (regardless of whether they're followed by exclamation marks or question marks)
-check that stutters start with a logical sound (e.g. "th-there" rather than "t-there")
-check that manually shortened paragraphs do not start/end with a space (depending on left/right alignment respectively)
-don't be lazy when manually shortening paragraphs; if it doesn't look right, undo as far back as you have to, then shorten a word (or far more) early or late, hoping for a butterfly effect that looks good
