Basically, there was a time travel in Homestuck, but if you try and use it to change your fate, you'll end up in a doomed timeline where you die. Then one character gained an ability to actually go back to the past and change it, and he used it to revive Hussie's pet character who then becomes even bigger Mary Sue than she was before and proceeds to solve everything.
