As much as I think Gunn is a terrible writer.

Stories should not start at the beginning. The story should be an iceberg, where more and more mysteries get revealed as the story progresses. That's what keeps the audience invested and coming back for more.

It's easier to understand once you realize that the investors are idiots. They're not the ones designing it, they're just the ones throwing their parents money at it.

You would if idiots would stop supporting slop.

If people "support Superman" simply because a new movie is out regardless of its quality then there's no reason for directors and executives to involve people that would enforce quality control.

>Has this ever worked in real life?
No, that's a clear case of sexual assault. She literally has the pepper spray in hand.

>SUPERMAN MOVIE TRACKING TO BE THE LOWEST GROSSING MOVIE OF ALL TIME

Man, I remember being a young boy/teen in the 90s seeing stuff like this on book covers, the occasional magazine or poster or rpg rulebook or manual. It captured the imagination like nothing else ever since...
Video games felt like a natural progression, the vibe was there at the time, but the tech wasn't quite there yet to fully capture it.

I remember dreaming excitedly what games would be like in the future, when we would finally be able to immerse ourselves in fantasy on the level promised by this artwork.

How naive i was. Hoping for a future that would never come.
How ignorant of the horrors of standardized western art education, SEA plastic CG sweatshop and the general irrelevance of art through oversaturation.
