I don't hang out in toku spaces, so maybe this happens for Super Sentai or something, but the only anime fanbase where I see people this autistic about equal screen time for all of the main characters is Precure.

I will say that it's at least better than Kaito/Uta, where all the shipbait seems to be weirdly self-contained in their own seperate subsection of Kimi to Idol episodes. Zakkuri getting overworked has been built up for weeks now, but Uta blushing over Kaito isn't acknowledged even one episode later, and we're back to Meroron trying to kill Uta for stealing Purirun as is the usual.

I do think we'll get more... if only because Kaito focus has been so little in the first half that I can't imagine getting less in the second.
Feel free to hold out hope for Idol shifting teams, but you'll probably have to wait until next year for a het season.

I don't think this arc can be resolved without revealing what that is, and the arc should resolve before the end of the second cour. I'd be surprised it we don't learn it 2 episodes by now at the latest.
