Having life suck IS the cure fren.
I was depressed for years, all sort of meds, therapy, nothing worked.
And then, I got a dose of some actual, real, transformative suffering and danger from a supposedly terminal illness.

Now that's over.
And while my career trajectory and everything I worked for was ruined, everything is fine and nothing bugs me anymore. I'm just happy to be alive and not in pain or danger. Happiness and chasing it are overrated, the absence of fear/pain is where its at. But if you've never gotten a taste, its hard to appreciate that.
