Nigger, Kojima wanted the over the top cutscenes and specifically asked him to direct them. Him then bouncing and pretending Kitamura did his own weird silly thing and claiming the remake is non-canon simply speaks volumes of how he is a piece of shit ready to throw others under the bus and take zero responsibility for it. Hideous Kojimbo pretends to be an auteur doing his own weird avant-garde thing while he constantly mimics every recent trend from first person shooters and middle east zogbot simulators to open world slop and Death Stranding 2 is just Evangelion Rebuild with more action and more casualization so you can play it as an even shittier TPP.
