>gimme a quick rundown on the epoch pls.
Imagine this:
>AT weapon with leg-meta era EAT damage, so you generally need 2 full power hits to kill stuff
>Has a 3 round magazine, so you often either need to reload between between shots to kill a target, or will waste ~33% of your ammo preemptively reloading between engagements.
>To achieve this leg-meta damage, you need to charge the weapon like the railgun. If you fire too early you might as well have fired an autocannon shot down range. If you fire too late you actually just explode and die
>the audio/visual cues that suggest that you have entered overcharge state aren't synchronized with the weapon entering overcharge state. You need to wait about half a second after the cues before firing, but not three quarters of a second or else you die.
>the accuracy of the weapon is non-existent and the rounds basically fly out of the barrel sideways, so good luck trying to snipe a hulk eye slit. The shot dispersion is 10x worse than the worst thing that we previously had.
>the weapon not only is incapable of closing bug holes, but it also can't break shipping containers or chain link fences.

So what's fucked about the Epoch? Do we have a concise list
>LOL LMAO weapon spread (acknowledged and should be fixed)
>apple bacon levels of demo force (they probably just copied the projectile of the plasma punisher as a starting point and forgot about the demo force mechanic entirely).
I think these two are objectively problems that need to be fixed.
>a non-linear increase of damage
>overcharge visual indicators that are not properly synced to the charge meter actually being overcharged
>the grace period before exploding is debateably too slow.
I think fixing these would be good quality of life fixes, but not absolutely necessary.
>overall ammo economy
I haven't used it enough yet to really say if there is a problem with the ammo economy or not. It's hard to tell with the shit spread making it impractical to target weak points.

Did I miss anything?

I really hope that the anon from the last thread was lying and that the new plasma cannon has more demo force than fucking 10. I'm pretty sure that he was telling the truth though.

Now for the bonus questions:
>question 1
Do you think that the telefrag will be able to close bugholes?
>question 2
Do you think that the game will just freak the fuck out if you activate the teleport while mid-dive?

Has it been a year since the last time that we got super destroyer upgrades?

Has it been a full year yet since the last time that they gave us super destroyer upgrades? I need something to spend samples on.

>join a bug mission late. We're almost out of time and fuckall of the objectives are done.
>the team has split up. The host, and player B are off on one edge of the map and seem intent on killing a medium nest or something
>I spawn near player C, and we silently split up to cover more ground.
>C and I start mopping up objectives left and right, and eventually link up at the super park to open the many super vaults
>C and I then make our way over to extraction to secure the LZ
>during all of this, host and B barely clear a medium nest and they're both constantly taking turns dying
>C and I provide some covering fire while they make their way to the LZ.
>We call the shuttle once the Destroyers are damn near about to leave orbit so that we don't need to maintain control of the LZ without stratagem support. We probably could have waited a few more seconds, but things were getting down to the wire. The pelican was set to touch down with maybe ~20 seconds left on the clock.
>eventually they finish making their way to the LZ and immediately beeline to the shuttle.
>C is a bit slow leaving his firing position after they reach the LZ, so I only fall back about halfway to the shuttle to help cover C's withdrawal
>Host and B do not wait for C to approach the shuttle. They immediately sprint through the hatch while calling in a eagle napalm strike on the shuttle. C is ~20m from the shuttle and I'm ~10m from the shuttle. It is mathematically impossible for C to board before impact, and I only survive because I pre-stimmed and dove prone. I still nearly get ragdolled off the ramparts into the bug pit below
>Shortly after I stand back up, C gets kicked and then I get kicked but not before I equipped my Talon and executed Mr Napalm.
Bugdivers are an extra sort of retarded. I also really hate the whole reddit bomb the pelican meme. I've seen so many last minute wipes because someone pre-dials but then gets ragdolled on the LZ.

>I think the eruptor got a stealth nerf last patch, it reacts WAY more to flinching and rapid fire
I've got a schizo theory that I haven't verified. Someone in one of these threads was claiming that swedecode introduced a bug in the code where your character suffers from worse shot dispersion and extra sway when you are out of stamina. Allegedly the swedes somehow managed to tie everyone's aim to the host's stamina. So if the host if flailing around in the middle of a bug breach like a young athlete dying suddenly from his fauci ouchie, then everyone else in the squad is having their aim fucked up by the stamina sway. This is felt most by weapons like the eruptor that are heavily penalized by missing your shots.

Anecdotally aiming down sights in first person behaves as normal. It's just obnoxious when you should be able to make some textbook simple shots in third person ADS.
