NTA and I dont really agree with that theory, but its reasonable to believe Carol could be acting without knowing the full consequences, because we already had an antagonist do that (Queen). The prophecy could be being misinterpreted or she could be being manipulated. Or Ralsei could be full of shit, dude has been lying or wrong about stuff every chapter.
