I'm never more proud of /trek/ than when it embraces Star Trek's principles and stands up to tyranny.

You are not very intelligent thankfully.

Beyond that, it's forcing Star Trek to be something that is conducive to their retarded grimdark modern political stories.
>forcing the Fox News style broadcast into Picard
>yeah we just let all of the Romulans die and didn't even send humanitarian aid LOL
>the "Romulan Star Empire" which was large enough to maintain a massive "neutral zone" border with the Federation is now suddenly a planet with a single world which was obliterated by a single supernova
Nu Trek writers try to drag Trek's enlightened setting down into the mire of what's going on in our actual world instead of letting it be a beacon of optimism by which we might chart our way to the future.
It's just cheap, bad writing, similar to how a lot of comic book authors just have no idea how to write a Superman story and try to subvert his lore and make him edgy.
These are people who can't even conceive of the type of future Roddenberry was envisioning and should keep their hands off of it.

Thank you, anon. There's too much dishonest posting going around these days so it's genuinely appreciated.

Don't worry, they're good, quality Star Trek episodes that are a RETURN TO FORM for the storytelling of the series
Such as: the Klingon Musical episode!

>coomposting
Daily reminder ENT fucking sucks and it's proven out by the fact that no one ever discusses anything about any of the episodes -- they just post softcore porn.
