The seventh, golden flower in addition to the six flowers representing the six souls implies the existence of a new, yet unseen human soul. It is not a red flower. I think Kris had a golden soul, perhaps of determination, giving even the Knight the ability to create fountains despite not being a lightner and not being able to produce determination herself.

You already kind of have The Knight being the mandatory "true final boss" of Chapter 3 and I can imagine something similar happening in Chapter 5 where they just straight up play out Undertale's Neutral Ending and have Flowey merc Asgore after you defeat him.
