While this is clearly about Kris, it also applies to the player, who can easily deny any moral weight to their actions because of the detachment inherent to fiction, or because the game compelled them to do it by having it as an option, etc. The rest of the speech even more clearly applies to the player. Again, to be as explicit as possible, this is not to say that it doesn't also apply to Kris. It simply applies to both Kris AND the player. That's the point of the sword route, in my opinion, putting Kris in the role of the player and showing their similarities.
